I've been playing this version now for about 6 months. There's a few things to keep in mind about this edition of the game. White Wolf went bankrupt, and was sold off to Paradox. White Wolf was shuttered last year because it handled a real world situation very insensitively in the Camarilla source book. Despite what you might hear, this line is still very much alive; a new book, "Cults of the Blood Gods" was just announced today with a kickstarter campaign. V5 is better than V20, because it has a focussed theme and is more adaptable to contemporary stories about playing vampires, here and now, without being bogged down in overwhelming and largely superfluous fan service lore that was written way after the original game in supplements.
