Does the email match the Microsoft account you redeemed Minecraft to? Also, have you set up an Xbox gamertag? You can do so by opening the Xbox app and going through your profile.
I am also receiving the "already redeemed" message. It is not on my Microsoft account list of recent purches history. I see it on recent purchases, but do not know how to download it! Maybe try that? Not sure really. I bet this was activated by my other account. But it asked me to sign in so I signed into my account now associated with my PC and Xbox and it said 9. So I went back to see if it was redeem and it was.

I tried to Redeem My copy and it say already redeemed and there is no record of purchase under my store account. Its says on my windows history that i reedemed my windows 10 code. But after i trie to download the game but it says that i still have to pay. OMG, I finally got mine to work.
What I did, I downloaded the trail and played that for a bit. I'm not sure how long afterwards you have to wait in order to get it to work, but today I clicked on the "9. Once I logged into my account, it went through just fine saying it has been downloaded already cause I got the trail.
Check my bank, no pending Nothing in my xbox nor regular account says trail, even in the store. I hope this helps others out and works!! If you have clicked the Redeem code and it says you've already redeemed it, go into the Windows 10 store app. Check to see if you are signed into the store. If it shows a little circle around a person outline with a plus in the corner up by the search bar, click it and sign into it with your Microsoft account info.
