They finally had a breakthrough thanks to dx9 used in the steam edition of the game. That's why a ton of mods have been flooding the forums. I actually started a LP of ff8 last year but discontinued it so I can go again with all the new mods.
Haha thanks, I had the from the old rig which died last December. I use my TV as a monitor though which isn't ideal since there is a rather noticeable input delay even on "game" mode making some games hard to play.
